Hello again! Hopefully you’ve seen the news about World of Darkness Unbound, if not you can read about it here: https://www.worldofdarkness.com/unbound

This is really exciting because this means two awesome things! 1) I can update Praxis and add features mentioned in the comments, and 2) I can monetize this project and make a little cash on the side working on this. I wanted to make a quick post about what that means for this game going forward and give a few hints about upcoming content that might excite some of you. As of right now Praxis is free to play and it will remain so for about a week. I’m going to focus on spelling errors and any bugs (I haven’t found any big ones yet) and rebalancing for this week while it is still free. After that I’m relaunching the game to be monetized, this will be the time that I start adding some of the new content I’ll post below. I do not have a set price yet, but it will definitely be under $20 and hopefully affordable for everyone who wants it. So if you haven’t played Praxis yet, now is the time to do it! If you have any features you are hoping for, please post them in the comments section, I’ve loved seeing everyone’s feedback. 

So what do you have to look forward to? 

- Saving: I heard you, you want to be able to save your game. A reasonable request with a lot of work involved, but I will do my best to make that happen. 

- Expanded Events: More events will be placed throughout the game such as a new sheriff mission involving a secret blood cult. Locations will have more events associated with them, giving you more choices as you play. Also clan specific events will be incorporated randomly throughout the map.

- Character Creation: Not only am I unlocking a lot of the stat locks on a character, there will be a whole system that will allow you to stat your own character. Not only that, but I will implement a system that allows you to upload a picture of yourself to the game using the Praxis filter so you can see yourself wander the streets of Portland as a Vampire. 

- A Whole New Story: A prequel to Praxis in which you will get to play one of the lesser known clans (Banu Haquim, Hecata, Lasombra, Ministry, Ravnos, and Tzimisce) in which you play as an Anarch back in the day before the Camarilla claimed Portland for themselves. 

- A Notification System: You know how you end up getting flung around the map checking on random events? I plan on having a notification system pop up so that these events only trigger when you click on the popup, stopping that jarring moment in which the camera yeets itself 1000 yards away from the character you were just about to move.
